Classic pub, Brown bar, able to make the most British people feel at home as they just arrived in the Netherlands. Close to the harbor and with very friendly personnel. Very cheap and tasty food with a wide assortiment of biers. I went there when England was playing and it was chaotic with also some not so nice drank men but the staff managed well anyway. Well done
Super service from moment walked in, welcoming and friendly. Very convenient for the ferry and well worth a visit for a beer or food. Bookmarked to return.

Tons of Atmosphere and surprisingly good food... If you've looking for a decent, pub-style meal, and you've got a couple of hours to kill before getting on the ferry, the Harwich is your man. Decorated to the hilt in the traditional style, this place even boasts a couple of old-school billiards tables. Service is extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, the beer is great, and the quality of the food came as a complete surprise to me. Full marks all-round... I'll be coming back here.
We were a group of 5 and visited for the last 2 nights and service was excellent from the moment we arrived. We had been in Hoek for work so were late finishing and they still cooked for us. Lovely staff, excellent food, will definitely visit again when back. Thank you.
A great place to go while you're waiting for the ferry. Friendly staff and locals and the food was good pub grub at reasonable prices.
